Consent is the foundation of Vleesboek. This policy explains how consent applies to content on the Service, what you attest when uploading adult or intimate content, how multi-party consent works, and how consent can be withdrawn.

1. What Consent Means

For the purposes of the Service, consent means an informed, voluntary, and revocable agreement by an adult (18 or older) to:

  • the creation of content depicting them;
  • the storage of that content on the Service;
  • the display and distribution of that content to other members on the Service.

Consent must be:

  • Informed — the person understands what will be created and shared, and with whom;
  • Voluntary — the person freely agrees, without coercion, manipulation, or pressure;
  • Revocable — the person can withdraw consent at any time, and the content must be removed promptly;
  • Specific — consent to one use does not imply consent to another.

2. Attestation When Uploading

When you upload intimate or explicit media, the Service requires you to attest that:

  • every identifiable person depicted is 18 years of age or older;
  • every identifiable person depicted has given informed, voluntary, and revocable consent to the creation and distribution of that content on the Service;
  • you have the legal right to upload and share the content;
  • you understand that consent may be withdrawn at any time and you will promptly remove the content if consent is withdrawn;
  • your attestation is truthful, and you understand that false attestations may result in account termination.

Each upload records your attestation alongside the media. The attestation is binding for as long as the media remains on the Service.

3. Multi-Party Consent

When content depicts more than one identifiable person, every depicted person must independently meet the consent requirements above. If any depicted person withdraws consent, the content must be removed, even if other depicted persons have consented.

When uploading such content, you attest that you have obtained consent from every identifiable person depicted.

4. Withdrawal of Consent

Any person depicted in content on the Service may withdraw consent at any time. To withdraw consent, the person (or their authorized representative) may:

Upon receiving a valid withdrawal-of-consent request, we will remove the content promptly and notify the member who uploaded it that the content was removed for consent reasons.

5. Depicted Minors

Content depicting any person under 18 in a sexual or exploitative context is strictly prohibited. Such content is removed immediately and reported to NCMEC's CyberTipline and law enforcement without exception. If you encounter such content, please report it immediately.

6. Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII)

Sharing intimate imagery of a person without their informed, voluntary, and revocable consent — including deepfakes and stolen images — is strictly prohibited. We remove confirmed NCII promptly and may take further action against the uploader.

7. Verification

In some cases, we may ask for additional information to verify consent claims or to confirm the identity of a person depicted in content. This information is used solely for moderation and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Urgent safety resources

If you believe a minor is in danger or content depicts abuse of a minor, contact local law enforcement and report to NCMEC's CyberTipline (or your local equivalent) immediately.

Changes

We may update this Consent Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service.
