Your safety, your control

Welcome

The Service is intended for adults who treat each other with respect and dignity. This page summarizes the most important safety tools and information. It is not exhaustive — for full rules, see our Community Guidelines, Content Policy, and Terms of Service.

Blocking & muting

You can block or mute any member at any time from their profile or from the menu on any of their posts. Blocking also removes existing follows and connections and prevents the blocked person from contacting you. Muting hides a member's posts from your feeds without notifying them.

Manage your blocks and mutes from Settings → Blocked.

Reporting content

If you see content or conduct that violates our policies, report it. You can use the in-app report action on any post, comment, profile, or message — or submit a takedown request for copyright, non-consensual intimate imagery, impersonation, or other complaints.

Privacy controls

From your settings you can:

• make your account private (approvals required to follow you);
• hide your online status, location, and birth year;
• control who can see your follower and following lists;
• choose who can message you (everyone / following / friends / nobody);
• blur media from unknown senders by default;
• decide whether to show adult content in your feed;
• opt out of being searchable by username or email.

Consent & intimate media

When you upload intimate or explicit media, you attest that every depicted person is an adult who has consented. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. See our Consent Policy for full details.

Protecting your identity

The Service automatically strips EXIF metadata from uploaded images (including location and device information). For additional privacy, consider:

• using a username and display name that do not reveal your real identity;
• not including identifying information in your bio or posts;
• checking backgrounds of any media you upload for identifying clues;
• being cautious when sharing contact details or meeting members in person.

Safe messaging

Messaging on the Service is member-to-member and respects your messaging permission settings. Messages from members you do not follow are blurred by default and require you to accept a message request before they enter your conversation. You can block or report a member at any time from a conversation.

How to report unauthorized intimate imagery

If intimate imagery of you has been posted without your consent, submit a takedown request selecting "Non-consensual" as the complaint type. We prioritize these requests and remove confirmed content promptly. See our Copyright / Takedown Policy for details.

How to report suspected underage content

If you suspect that content depicts a person under 18, report it immediately using the in-app report action and select "Underage" or "CSAM" as the category. Urgent reports trigger immediate hiding of the content pending review.

Account security

Use a strong, unique password. Enable two-factor authentication where available. Be cautious of unsolicited messages asking for personal information — Vleesboek will never ask for your password. You can review and revoke active sessions from Settings → Security.
