Content Policy

This Content Policy explains what kinds of content are allowed on Vleesboek, how content must be labeled, what is prohibited, and the actions we may take in response to violations. It works together with our Community Guidelines, Consent Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service.

1. Adult Content Rules

Consensual adult content created by and for adults is permitted on the Service, provided that:

• all individuals depicted are 18 or older and have consented to the creation and distribution of that content;
• the content is labeled with appropriate content warnings and NSFW markers;
• the content respects the consent of all depicted individuals and is removed promptly when consent is withdrawn;
• the content does not depict, suggest, or role-play non-consent, coercion, or the participation of minors;
• the content complies with applicable law in the jurisdictions where it is created, hosted, and viewed.

2. Content Warnings

Members must apply content warnings to posts that may be sensitive. Content warnings are short labels that describe the nature of potentially sensitive content (for example: sexual content, violence, drug use, eating disorder, self-harm). They let other members choose whether and when to view the content.

We may automatically apply additional warnings to content that our systems flag for review.

3. NSFW Marking

Any post containing nudity, sexual activity, or other adult content must be marked as NSFW. NSFW posts are blurred by default in feeds and require an explicit action to reveal. Members can configure their preferences to control whether NSFW content appears in their feed at all.

4. Consent Attestation

When you upload intimate or explicit media, the Service requires you to attest that:

• every identifiable person depicted is 18 or older;
• every identifiable person depicted has given informed, voluntary, and revocable consent to the creation and distribution of that content;
• you have the legal right to share the content;
• you understand that consent may be withdrawn at any time and you will promptly remove the content if asked.

This attestation is recorded with each upload. False attestations are a serious violation and may result in permanent termination. See our Consent Policy for full details.

5. Media Upload Rules

When uploading media, you must comply with the following rules:

• only upload media that you have the right to upload and share;
• all images are re-encoded and metadata (including EXIF) is stripped automatically to remove location and device information;
• files must comply with our size, type, and dimension limits published in the upload interface;
• media depicting any person under 18 is strictly prohibited and will be reported;
• media depicting non-consensual intimate imagery is prohibited and will be removed;
• media depicting violence, abuse, illegal acts, bestiality, or incest is prohibited.

6. Prohibited Content Types

• child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — reported without exception;
• non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including deepfakes;
• content depicting or promoting bestiality;
• content depicting or promoting incest;
• content depicting or promoting sexual violence or non-consent;
• content depicting minors in sexual or exploitative contexts;
• content promoting terrorism, hatred, or violence;
• content facilitating illegal activity (drug sales, weapons, trafficking);
• malware, phishing links, or scam content;
• spam, mass-DM campaigns, or coordinated inauthentic behavior;
• impersonation or false identity;
• doxxing or exposure of private information;
• copyright-infringing content (see our Copyright / Takedown Policy).

7. Moderation Actions

We may take the following actions in response to violations:

• Visible. Default state — content is shown normally.
• Hidden. Content is hidden from feeds and profiles pending review (for example, urgent reports).
• Restricted distribution. Content remains visible but is de-prioritized, blurred, or excluded from recommendations.
• Removed. Content is permanently removed from the Service.
• Account warning. A formal warning is issued to the member.
• Account restriction. Some features are limited (for example, posting, messaging, uploading).
• Account suspension. Temporary suspension of access.
• Account termination. Permanent ban from the Service.
• Referral to authorities. Reports to NCMEC, law enforcement, or other competent authorities where required.

Members may appeal moderation actions through our contact page within 30 days.

If you believe a minor is in danger or content depicts abuse of a minor, contact local law enforcement and report to NCMEC's CyberTipline (or your local equivalent) immediately.
